    1. We got the shade cloth in place and gave the garden a good water after sunset – looks like we might get those peppers and beans after all. 🙂

    1. January 2 and my idealism hits reality – lol. It’s about 40 C down here today and the garden if frying – vegie seedlings keeling over in all directions. My daughter and I tried putting shade cloth over them but it’s too hot and we can’t stand outside long enough to do anything much! Best laid palins of – and all that

            1. Nowhere near as cold as you. It gets down to around 10-12C though we do really cold winds blowing up from Antarctica. We get some wild storms

                1. I read that book years ago – not sure where it’s set. Tasmania can get very cold in the winter but still nowhere near as cold as you. Keep those fires burning over there 🙂

    1. As I wrote to other commenters my great idea of sowing some late vegies has hit reality as the temperature soars today and my garden dries out in the heat. 🙂

Please comment. I love knowing what you think.
