  1. Very intriguing composition – the dynamic water, sculpted rock and organic lines & textures of the plants form a triptych. Would be curious to see it rotated 90 & 180 to take it further into the abstract/symbolic reality of elements. 🙂

    The blue tones create a subdued temporally distant emotional context that reminds me of Japanese photography & prints.

    1. Thanks so much for this interesting comment. I am looking at a lot of Japanese art and photography at present – great to know it’s showing up in my work. The idea of taking the image further into the abstract and the symbolic is intriguing. I’ll have a play and see what happens. Thanks for the inspiration.

    1. Glad you like it. I’m currently fascinated with the look of coastal scrub. Trying to catch it in photos is proving elusive. I think it could easily become my next photographic obsession.
